We are aware that you (leave) personal data with us when you place an order. Therefore, we can well imagine that you would like to know exactly what happens to your data and whether it is stored securely. The following explains to you what personal data is requested from you and what we do with it. This will help you understand exactly how we handle your privacy. Securely stored

All your personal information is stored with us in a secure database. This way, someone who has nothing to do with it cannot access your data either. In addition, we store your data within the European Economic Area (EEA). If your data is given to third parties – read below to find out why and when we do this – we require that these third parties treat your data as carefully as we do and that it is used only for the purpose for which the third party obtained it. We never provide or sell your information to third parties for commercial purposes.

What data

When you place an order with us, we ask for the following information in order to process your order:

  • First and last name
  • Address and residence
  • Email address
  • Phone number
  • Payment details

What happens to your data:

Delivery: We need your name, address and residence for delivery of the products you order. As part of order processing, the carrier used by us (such as PostNL, DHL, UPS and GLS) receives the necessary data for order and delivery processing.


Alternatively, the order may be handled by our distribution partners and/or suppliers. These parties receive your name and delivery address so they can process and deliver your order. We enter into agreements with all these partners and suppliers in which we agree on what they may do with the data.

Customer Service: You can call and email with us. We hereby record data on the telephone and mail conversation. In addition, we take notes that we store on our server. This way, we can help quickly if you contact us again or we need to contact you again. In addition, your phone number and e-mail address are obviously important for us to be able to contact you quickly about your order. We analyze contact moments to improve our service and services.

Account: We will create a customer account for you in our system after registration. This contains your personal information such as name, delivery address and phone number.

Payment: We use a secure payment environment where you can pay in a variety of ways. You always pay from a secure payment environment that you can recognize by the lock icon at the top left of your browser. This means that a secure SSL connection has been established.

iDEAL/transfer: For payments via iDEAL/transfer we use our partner mollie.nl. Your name and address information will be used by mollie.co.uk to process the payment. Bank details remain with Mollie.co.uk and are not in our possession. Should it be necessary, we can have access to it, for example, in the case of a refund. After payment, we receive feedback from Mollie.co.uk whether the payment was successful or not. If so, we will link it to your placed order.

Credit card: For credit card payments, we work with the ICS. No personal data are sent to ICS by us. These are known to ICS.

PayPal: When you pay via PayPal, we send your name and address information to PayPal. Other details are known to Paypal.

Newsletter/Daily Offer: You can subscribe to our newsletter. This will keep you informed of our offers, promotions and latest news. To send the newsletters/daily offers, we use the email address you provide and need your confirmation that you as the owner of the email address agree to receive them. We may also provide you with personal recommendations through these emails, unless you have indicated that you do not wish to do so. These personalized recommendations are based on your purchases, review requests and visit history. If you prefer to no longer receive newsletters and/or daily offers from us, you can easily unsubscribe using the link at the bottom of the newsletter. You can also unsubscribe by contacting customer service.

Reviews: We use multiple (external) review platforms where you can leave a review. It depends on the particular review platform whether you need to provide your personal information to post a review, we do not forward it. In some cases, we proactively approach our customers to write a review. For this purpose, your name and email address will be sent to the relevant review platform so that an invitation can be sent.

Web analysis: With the help of Google’s statistics program (Google Analytics), it is possible for us to detect errors and make improvements to the website. Google Analytics uses cookies that are stored on your website. This enables the use of Google Analytics. The information recorded by the cookie (website usage and IP address) is sent to a Google server. Because we have extended the tracking code with “gat._anonymizeIp();” an anonymized record of your IP address is guaranteed.

Log files: When you visit the website, your user information is stored in server log files. These log files contain information about which page(s) you visited and when, the IP address, through which website you came to the website and your browser information. We evaluate these log files (in anonymized form) to optimize server capacity with the goal of maximizing your user experience.

Cookies: We use partners who, when you visit our website, place one or more cookies on your hard drive. These are temporary and/or permanent cookies. These are automatically deleted when the cookie’s validity period expires. The validity period of a cookie can range from 1 day to 10 years. The cookies do not contain personal data with the exception of the IP address. They serve the sole purpose of showing you advertisements of products you are interested in (re-targetting).

Social Media: If you use social media such as Facebook and Instagram, you can share articles and/or posts (from us) with your friends on your social media account. We will not have access to your social media account. If you want to know exactly how your data is used by these social media parties and how you can adjust settings, we recommend that you consult their privacy policies.

Promotions/ Contests: If you enter a promotion or contest, we may ask for your name, address and e-mail address. This way we can contact you should you be one of the winners. More detailed instructions can be found in the participation conditions of the respective promotion/contest, which are published on our website during the promotion/contest.

Fraud: Fraud is very annoying. To investigate, prevent and deter fraud, we use customer data. If there is suspicion, we are required to pass your information to government agencies.

Repair/Warranty: To perform a repair (under warranty) of a product purchased from us, we may use another party (for example, the manufacturer). We sometimes need to provide your data to the relevant third party for this purpose. The transmitted data may only be used by this third party to fulfill its task.

External service providers: We also use external service providers who support us, for example, in our customer service, advertising and marketing campaigns, in delivering our digital services, in conducting customer research, in obtaining ratings and reviews, and in providing financial services. We share only the data necessary for the assignment and require that it be used only for the purpose for which this service provider obtained it. We also enter into agreements with these service providers in which we agree on the use of this data. We never provide or sell your information to these service providers for commercial purposes.

Your rights

  • You have the right to an explanation of how we handle your personal data.
  • You have the right to request access to the personal data we hold on you at any time.
  • You have the right to have your personal data corrected if it is inaccurate, outdated and/or incomplete.
  • You have the right to be forgotten. This means that with us you always have the option of having your data/account deleted or corrected. Incidentally, this does not apply to personal data that we need for such things as invoices for our accounting records.
  • You have the right to oppose direct marketing and profiling. Profiling is any form of automated processing of personal data such as preferences and predicting behavior. This allows us, for example, to create customer profiles and provide personalized offers based on them.

If you would like to review, change or delete your personal data, or object to the use of your personal data for marketing purposes, please contact our customer service department. Of course, it is also possible to modify or delete your data in your account on the website.
